Naval Hospital at Hong Kong, I am commanded by My Lords
Commissioners of the Admiralty to state for the information
of the Secretary of State for the Colonies that, as it was
found necessary to revise the plans for the Hospital, it was
not possible to commence work during the financial year 1937
as anticipated.
2. My Lords are still unable to say when it will be
possible to commence this work, and I am to request that, in
the meantime, the Admiralty option on the site in Stubbs
Road may be renewed by the Government of Hong Kong for a
further period of one year from the 1st April, 1938, in
accordance with the arrangement sanctioned by the Secretary
of State in Colonial Office letter of the 29th July, 1933,
